Run parallel AI coding agents on your Mac - acquired by Meta, no new downloads
Important: Conductor was acquired by Meta on November 4, 2026, and is winding down. New users can no longer sign up or download the app. Conductor Cloud goes read-only on November 13, 2026 and shuts down on November 20, 2026, when cloud user data deletion begins - existing users should transfer cloud workspaces to local (right-click a workspace, then Transfer to local) and export their data (Settings, Account, Export data) before that date. The local app keeps working and receiving new models and critical bug fixes until early 2027, when it starts winding down too. Active subscribers are being refunded, and the company states it has never sold or trained on user data. Read our news article for the full timeline: Meta buys Conductor: the free Mac app's cloud shuts down November 20.
Conductor is a free Mac app for running several AI coding agents in parallel. Instead of driving one agent at a time, you spin up Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agents in isolated workspaces, let each one work on a separate part of your project, then review and merge their changes from a single window. Conductor does not provide the models itself - it is the control room that coordinates the agents you already use.
Workspaces can run locally on your Mac or in Conductor Cloud, and a companion iOS app lets you check on agents from your phone. The app is free, with an optional pro plan.
Key features:
Conductor suits developers who already use AI coding tools and want to multiply their throughput on real projects. Its short remaining lifespan makes it a tool to try now rather than adopt for the long term: the team says "something new" is coming from Meta's Superintelligence Labs in early 2027.
Each workspace is isolated, so agents do not trip over each other's edits. You watch their progress at a glance, jump into any agent's chat to redirect it, and use the built-in changes panel to accept, adjust or discard what an agent produced before merging. For teams experimenting with agentic development, it has been one of the most polished takes on the "team of agents" workflow - which is exactly what Meta bought.
Run Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agents at the same time, each in its own isolated workspace.
See every agent's changes as diffs and merge them without leaving the app.
Keep code on your Mac, or use Conductor Cloud for heavier parallel work (cloud shuts down November 20, 2026).
Monitor and steer your agents from your phone.
