Converter NOW replaces the ad-riddled unit converter websites with a single clean app. You start typing a number and every other unit on the page updates in real time - no convert button, no dropdown maze, no page reload. It covers more than 200 units, from the everyday classics (length, mass, volume, temperature, speed, pressure, energy) to handy oddities like numeral systems, fuel consumption, SI prefixes and shoe sizes.
Around thirty currencies convert with exchange rates refreshed daily from the European Central Bank's free feed. A small calculator is built into every conversion page, so 'half of 3.5 liters in cups' is one screen instead of two. Units can be reordered and hidden to match your habits, and your layout can be exported and imported when you change devices. The app is translated into 14 languages.
The privacy posture matches the simplicity: no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and internet access is used only to fetch currency rates. Converter NOW runs on Android (Play Store, F-Droid or APK), Windows (Microsoft Store, winget or setup), Linux (Flatpak, AppImage, Snap or archive) and any browser through the web app - which can also be self-hosted with a single Docker command. There is no iOS app. Licensed GPL-3.0.
