On-device JIT compiler that turns AI-generated Three.js into native 3D and AR on Android, iOS and the web.
Three-Live is an open-source project from Google (Apache-2.0, beta) that compiles live, AI-generated Three.js on-device and renders it natively: Google Filament and Scene Viewer on Android, Apple RealityKit and Quick Look on iOS, and WebGL2 plus WebXR on the web. It exists because iOS Safari and embedded WebViews do not ship WebXR, and static USDZ/GLB exports drop your animations and interactions.
The project ships two zero-install browser studios at google.github.io/three-live: a 3D and AR studio (procedural editor, preset scenes, PBR inspector, one-tap USDZ/GLB/AR export, under 61 KB gzipped) and a spatial computing studio (6DoF WebXR, hand tracking, spatial plugins). There are no ready-to-install Android or iOS apps: those platforms are supported as integration targets through the open-source runtime (Filament on Android, RealityKit on iOS), built from source. The size figure quoted in our article (under 61 KB gzipped) refers to the web studio component, not an installer. Version 1.3.0 adds an npx three-live-cli launcher so AI coding agents can validate, render and simulate scenes without a local Rust toolchain.
